What I've Done

In 2014, he attended the JJ & Friends Academy for the Performing Arts, where he got the chance to be featured in a JJ & Friends commercial. The following year of attending the Academy, a huge concert was held where he got to perform a solo and dance routine to showcase what they had learned.
           
Three years later in 2018, he performed at the very popular, "Kaiso Blues Café".This performance was followed by a modelling gig at the Red Runway Kids Fashion Show.
            
2019 proved to be very progressive as there were several projects done. In Early September he signed with the talent company, Ameliore Management INC, where he was approached to record a Radio Ad for Penywise.  Due to the work done by him and his schoolmates, along with his proper speaking and stage presence skills, he was then chosen to speak at Napa in front of 1000+ students about all the charitable work his school's 'WE Club' has done. Only being a form 1 student at the time, he was then awarded an earned trip to Toronto, Canada where he undertook leadership training.
            
In early 2020 His first ever short film entitled "Born Free" won him first place in a film contest held by Rollywood Entertainment. "Born Free" later premiered at Digicel IMAX for the Rollywood International Film Festival also named a TV6 Junior Anchor after winning the competition with an outstanding number of votes for a night to appear on a CCNTV6 News broadcast and last but not least, a certified Child Rights Ambassador and participation in the Smalta Advertising Campaign Takeover as a ‘Digital Content Marketer’.

Despite the challenges the world faced, 2020 sided with him as he launched his Instagram based Graphic Design and Branding business, "YourDesignsTT", which currently has over 100 followers. Most outstanding to him, he was named one of Cedros Bay's bloggers/influencers, a skincare brand he has admired for some time. As well as representing several brands for some time such as: Scribbles & Quills; a local bookstore, Earthly Essentials; A Skin Care Brand, The MiLL; A Youth Party, Eccentric; A Clothing Brand and collabs with Exotic Apparel, Travel Trinbago, PopL TNT, Chin Shen Clothing & Cairo’s Crafts and reached out to by Catch Bar Caribbean to work on an upcoming campaign. 

His 2019-ongoing partaking in the shooting of educational videos for JJ & Friends is now aired on Television, Media and the Brand's Tablets.

Through his ever-growing social media following, with a combined 12K+ Audience over all platforms. He’s been able to capture the attention of international brands such as Drunk Elephant, YumEarth, LoveCorn Snacks, Zeek Bars, Sour Strips, Pnuff Crunch reached out to by Catch Bar Caribbean to work on an upcoming campaign.  much more as P.R. Packages are sent from both local and int’l brands and business’ every week for his view on their products or service.

There are currently much more ideas bubbling to become possible and big projects in the works for the near future including interviews with both Caribbean CyberStream and ACM Caribbean.

 Jelani is a very determined young man who absolutely LOVES what he does. It's pretty much safe to say that he has conquered very much at his age and it is only the beginning!
